I really enjoyed making this piece. It is Mars, In front of the Sun and they are pretty close together. You can see some of the suns flares if u look closely.

i think you should add some more blinding light behind the planet, and cast a darker shadow on the planets surface, to really push the intesity of an eclipse.

A good way to do that is to use the overlay layer effects in photoshop
